This is pathway 3 of our IQA suite of qualifications. Anyone achieving this award will be qualified to lead a team of IQA practitioners within their own organisation.
Learners who achieve this qualification have a wide range of qualification progression opportunities, for example the teaching in the lifelong learning sector suite of qualifications such as Level 4 Education and Training, Level 5 Education and Training.
You will be a qualified assessor and practicing IQA. You will need access to a PC/Laptop/Mac and internet access. You will also be required to be motivated and able to set aside time to complete your work.
As this is a vocational qualification there are no final exams for you to sit. You will be continually assessed using a variety of tasks intended to show and use the skillset that you have.
This course is delivered remotely utilising our materials and the use of zoom / teams / Skype, etc. All written work will be submitted and assesed via our portfolio system.
The duration of the course is approximately 115 hours TQT. This includes tutoring and individual learning; however, as we take into account your previous work and academic history this could be less.

This qualification comprises of three mandatory units.

Be able to plan the internal quality assurance of assessment
Be able to internally evaluate the quality of assessment
Be able to internally maintain and improve the quality of assessment
Be able to manage information relevant to the internal quality assurance of assessment
Be able to maintain legal and good practice requirements when internally monitoring and maintaining the quality of assessment
5 Credit unit at Level 4
Be able to produce a work plan for own area of responsibility
Be able to allocate and agree responsibilities with team members
Be able to monitor the progress and quality of work in own area of responsibility and provide feedback
Be able to review and amend plans of work for own area of responsibility and communicate changes
