Defence Employer Recognition Scheme:

LC Partnership Ltd has been awarded the Silver Award in recognition of our role in supporting the Armed Forces community.

The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same.  The scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant#SilverERS2018 

LC Partnership Ltd in partnership with Veterans at Ease:

Veterans at Ease is a UK-registered charity committed to helping Veterans, Reservists, Serving Military Personnel and their families deal with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other combat stress-related issues. They will help anyone who feels they need support whether they have been diagnosed with PTSD or not.

As natural progression to the support offered, we work in partnership to further support our beneficiaries with employment and training opportunities. Having a Director who is a Veteran himself, LC Partnership Ltd (LCP) are key advocates for Defence.

LCP work closely with many employers in the North East and can be strong advocators of the Armed Forces and actively advocate how Service Leavers’ and Veterans’ can benefit industry and the community. Through conducting Defence events or campaigns, LCP provide unique mentoring and provide a personalised level of support to Service Leavers and Veterans.

Through our Employment Transition Programme (ETP) LCP help identify the many skill sets that Service Leavers and Veterans have and mentor them to translate a military mind-set and to articulate it to what a civilian employer understands.

Armed Forces Covenant Pledge:

We, LC Partnership Ltd will endeavour in our business dealings to uphold the key principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, which are: –

  • no member of the Armed Forces Community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen
  • in some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate especially for the injured or bereaved

LC Partnership Ltd recognises the value serving personnel, reservists, veterans and military families bring to our business. We will seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant, by: –

  • promoting the fact that we are an armed forces-friendly organisation;
  • seeking to support the employment of veterans young and old and working with the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), in order to establish a tailored employment pathway for Service Leavers;
  • striving to support the employment of Service spouses and partners;
  • endeavouring to offer a degree of flexibility in granting leave for Service spouses and partners before, during and after a partner’s deployment;
  • seeking to support our employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, including by accommodating their training and deployment where possible;
  • offering support to our local cadet units, either in our local community or in local schools, where possible;
  • aiming to actively participate in Armed Forces Day;
  • offering a discount to members of the Armed Forces Community;
